Auditons for Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town”

Auditions for “Our Town” are scheduled for October 10th and 11th from 6-8 pm at the theatre. It is recommended that those auditioning should familiarize themselves with the play, either by reading it beforehand, watching the movie version, or reading reviews and synopses online. Audtions will be held for the following open speaking roles:

The Stage Manager (the main narrator with many lines)

2 Men, 2 Women for middle aged parents

A girl and boy around 12 years old

Female lead, around 16-18 years old

Male, 60-80 years old for undertaker role

2 men, 25-35 years old

2 boys, 8-10 years old for newspaper boy roles

Middle aged male for troubled choir director role

Male, 40-60 years old for policeman role

Middle aged female for town gossip role

3 teenage boys for various lines

3 adults for various lines
