Kathy Eke

IMG_4433cropKathy Eke grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Cambridge Ohio in late April of 2001 and lives with her two children in the Cambridge/New Concord area. She graduated from Indiana University/Herron School of Art with a BFA in Visual Communications. She is presently working on her Masters at Muskingum University in the MISST program.

Kathy is a board member inducted to the CPAC 2010 Board of Directors. A good friend sent her a DVD of her previous acting in It’s your Hide Cowboy. She also performed in A Bridge Full of Troubled Daughters. Because of her love of the theatre she has attended and viewed many performances at CPAC, among them Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Odd Couple, The Christmas Story, Lion in Winter. Jungle Book. It was during the winter of 09 while her daughter performed in The Christmas Carol that inspired Kathy to get more involved in theatre once again. Her first co-producing debut is Sleeping Beauty Jr. She recently produced Our Town by Thornton Wilder and Nunsense by Dan Goggin, Disney’s Mulan Jr. She co-directed with our local original writer/director Anne Chlovechok in December 2011 on Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Unraveling Strand. The productions have been a huge hit with the community in SE Ohio. Her next adventure is producing Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr., Disney’s Peter Pan Jr. With a professional background in Digital Graphic Design Kathy is actively, visually, creatively in a myriad of ways helping to design, outside marquees, programs, tickets, and any other material to promote, market and advertise Cambridge Performing Arts Centre’s image to the community plus surrounding areas.
