Jane Grimm

IMG_4436cropsmJane and her husband Marty moved from Louisville, Ky to Cambridge in early 1988. He is a chemical engineer and was transferred here with Colgate when they built their facility in Cambridge. He has since retired. They have 10 children and just welcomed our 30th grandchild. Jane previously served on the board of CPAC for a term in either mid or late 90’s.  They have both enjoyed involvement with the theatre here since we became residents. Jane has been on stage a few times, but mainly in the pit playing piano or some sort of keyboard. Recently, she was part of the orchestra for Charlie Brown and last year Cinderella. Other notable shows include Sound of Music, Oklahoma, George M, Gypsy, Pirates of Penzance, Showboat, Annie, Seven Dwarfs, No, No Nanette, Camelot, and Of Thee I Sing.

Jane is an organist at Christ Our Light Parish (St. Benedict Church), and has played through the years for many weddings, funerals, childrens’ liturgies, nursing home masses. She has played in the City Band for nearly 20 years.

Jane also serves as treasurer for Guernsey Couny Right to Life Society, and has served on the board there for 22 years. She has also served as president of both Kentucky Right to Life and Ohio Right to Life. She is preparing to serve on the board of the new (still being planned) Open Arms Pregnancy Center in this area. She is also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

“I love live theater and have attended many shows here both at CPAC and at Pritchard/Laughlin Civic Center. Community theater, such as CPAC provides anyone interested, of any age, to be a part (in many ways) of theater as well as providing audiences with delightful entertainment. I hope I can be an asset to this board.”
